STYLE of BODYWORK:

Shakti has given thousands of massages; her style is calming, connected, and thorough. She gradually works into the layers of tissue to soothe the nervous system and invite the muscles to let go, preparing the way for deeper work. She works with a strong understanding of anatomy and awareness of the fascia. Energywork is integrated into every session, giving longer lasting results. Focus on Breathing, Guided Relaxation, Yoga, and Meditation, can be requested as part of your session. 


HOW OFTEN?
Shakti recommends coming weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month at the very least. This will help produce actual change in the tissues of your body. Coming regularly helps nip new issues in the bud, plus manages and improves conditions such as stress, back pain, neck pain, carpel tunnel, and sciatica.

SELF CARE/BODY EDUCATION
Shakti's Massage, Yoga, and Dance training enables her to instruct you in stretches, use of hot and cold therapies, and breathing/meditation exercises to do in between Massage visits.
